There is always one more story.

One Thousand and One Nights kept its listener leaning in with a simple promise: there is always one more tale. A Thousand and One Journeys makes the same promise about places. Europe, seen slowly and from above, is inexhaustible — every coastline, field and back road keeps a story of its own.

The series is created by Synas Media, the Ljungby-based production company behind the award-winning films of Synas Bio. Each episode is a compact, cinematic short — filmed in 4K, narrated in English, and subtitled for Swedish and Arabic audiences — that treats travel not as a checklist, but as storytelling.

ألف رحلة ورحلة

The series’ name, in the language of the first storytellers

Short by design

The pilot runs twelve minutes and forty seconds — long enough to lose yourself, short enough to watch twice. Every journey is a self-contained short film.

Filmed like cinema

Sweeping 4K aerial cinematography and a patient, painterly eye — the same craft Synas Media brings to its films, pointed at landscapes instead of scripts.

Three languages, one voice

English narration carries the journey; Swedish and Arabic subtitle editions open it to the audiences the series calls family.

The first journey begins at home.

Before the series sets out across Europe, it turns the camera on the country Synas Media knows best. The pilot is a love letter to Sweden from above — canola fields blazing yellow against a steel-blue lake, a white lighthouse standing alone in the bloom, farmland and forest stitched together like a quilt.

“Längst uppe i norr” — far up in the north — is where this atlas opens. From here, the map only gets bigger.

A thousand journeys still untold.

This is a pilot in the truest sense — the first departure on a much longer route. If you are a destination, a tourism board, a broadcaster or a brand that wants a place told cinematically, the next journey could be yours.
