Visit Ljungby: we love to tell stories.
Ljungby Municipality commissioned us to make a film about the culture of Ljungby, a town in Småland, southern Sweden. The journey runs through Ljungbergmuseet, Sagomuseet (the museum of legends), Teater 16, Begravningsmuseet (the funeral museum), the Grand and the Cliff Burton stone. We delivered the film in four versions: a 42-second landscape cut, plus 15-second cuts in landscape, square and portrait.
The films
One film, four formats.
The main film runs 42 seconds in landscape. Alongside it, three 15-second cuts — landscape, square and portrait.

The brief
Ljungby Municipality wanted a film that captures the culture of Ljungby. The route through the municipality's cultural life takes in Ljungbergmuseet, Sagomuseet, Teater 16, Begravningsmuseet, the Grand and the Cliff Burton stone.
The challenge
The scene at the Cliff Burton stone was shot in winter — but the film had to feel like summer.
The solution
We built a 3D sequence from photographs taken at the site during the summer. The sequence looks real, and it gives the location the summer feeling it could not offer in winter.
The result
A 42-second culture film and three 15-second cuts in landscape, square and portrait. Concept and script came from Ljungby Municipality; Synas Media handled cinematography, editing and direction.
