Sjöriket: two films, two audiences.
Sjöriket AB, a company in Småland, southern Sweden, needed to reach two very different groups — customers and partners on one side, future employees on the other. The answer was two films: a commercial and a recruitment film.
The brief
One sender, two entirely different registers. The commercial speaks to Sjöriket's customers, an audience made up largely of older people. The recruitment film speaks to young people who have not yet had time to build much experience. Two audiences that cannot be reached with the same film.

A nostalgic tone — for the customers.
The commercial has one clear goal: to stir warm feelings in its audience. We used storytelling, a slow editing pace and a low-saturation colour grade to build a nostalgic atmosphere — reaching viewers on an emotional level and bringing back fond memories.

“It's not superheroes we're looking for!”
The film is fun and light-hearted, and at the same time makes clear what Sjöriket looks for in its people: young, enthusiastic candidates who may not have much experience yet, but who have a strong drive to help others and make a difference in society.
